Tuition is due on or before the first of each month. After the 10th a $15 late fee will be added to your account. The school is not responsible for billing, so please pay on time. IF YOU REQUIRE A MONTHLY STATEMENT, PLEASE SIGN UP AT THE FRONT DESK. Full monthly payments are due on the first of each month regardless of the number of dance days in that month. Accounts two months past due may result in the cancellation of classes until payment is made in full. A $35 charge will apply to all returned checks.
TUITION RATES
Tuition will not be prorated for missed classes. Make-up classes are available and should be taken as soon as possible after the missed lesson. Perfect attendance is expected and is acknowledged at the end of the year. Make-up classes do not excuse absences when applied toward perfect attendance.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
For weather cancellations listen to KBRC or call 424-6677. Cancelled classes do not affect perfect attendance & make-up classes are available.
Dancecurriculum
Development of motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and basic Ballet technique through creative movement. Each student will need a leotard, tights, and Ballet slippers. Skirts are optional.
Kinderdance Ages 3 1/2 - 5 1/2
Tap and Classical Ballet technique and terminology with fun sing-along routines and tumbling. Each student will need a leotard, tights, Ballet slippers, and Tap shoes. Skirts are optional.
A form of American Theater Dance. A technique designed to develop coordination and stage presence while improving upon various rhythmic patterns.
Beginning Ballet Ages Vary
The fundamental basis of all dance techniques. Ballet teaches discipline of the mind and body while developing flexibility, grace, strength, and poise. .
Beginning Jazz Ages Vary
A dance dependent upon the entire body for strength, control, and coordination while incorporating various dance techniques. A fun way to move with
contemporary style. .
Raw Stree dance style that makes the music videos popular. Bring on the energy, funk and attitute that Hip Hop is know for.
Intermediate Ages 6-7
Development of motor skills, hand-eye coordination and fundamental basic techniques through creative movement. Classes in Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
Intermediate Ages 8-9
Development of motor skills, hand-eye coordination and fundamental basic techniques through creative movement. Classes in Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
Intermediate Ages 10-14
Development of motor skills, hand-eye coordination and fundamental basic techniques through creative movement. Classes in Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
Form of theatre combining music, songs and dance. To execute movement with meaning and maximum effort. Enabling the dancer the confidence to attempt any and all steps required by choreographers.
For students who are ready to focus on complete body awareness while building ankle strength and foot articulation. Teaches discipline of the mind and body while increasing dance technique and style.
Students who are capable of dancing in the center with proper & correct body alignment, ankle placement & straight legs. Must roll up and down from full point, NOT “POP-UP”. Must be able to balance, releve and turn on one leg.
For the student who can balance, releve, and control single leg work on both sides. Must be able to consistently pirouette on Pointe as well as do double turns and splits.
Only for the most dedicated dancer who has chosen to make dance his/her major extra-curricular priority. The basic technical requirements are the same as the Advanced class, and also include one legged center work, double and triple pirouettes, fouettes and choreography memorization, all encompassed with ease by the student.
