BEGINNER SUMMER SESSIONS 2025

Beginner sessions help introduce the concept of dance classes to a young dancer, and can best prepare emerging artists joining SVAD for the fall-spring season!

Tots/Tumble, Play & Sing

Ages 2 1/2-3 1/5

July 28th - July 31st 9:30AM-10:15AM

$90 PRE REGISTERED

$100 DAY OF REGISTRATION

Our Tots class is for our youngest dancers, ages 2 1/2 - 3 1/2.  Our focus is on the development of motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and basic Ballet technique through creative movement and fun musical awareness. Students will also learn basic tumbling skills while building core strength in fun and playful ways.

LEGGINGS AND A FITTED TOP OR PROPER  LEOTARD & TIGHTS. BALLET SHOES & TUTUS/SKIRTS ARE OPTIONAL.  

BALLET SLIPPERS ARE ENCOURAGED BUT NOT REQUIRED. BARE FEET ARE ALSO APPROPRIATE. 

HAIR NEEDS TO BE UP IN A PONYTAIL OR BUN


Kinderdance

Ages 3 1/5-5 1/2

July 28th - July 31st

10:30AM-12:00PM

$120 PRE-REGISTERED $130 DAY OF REGISTRATION

This session is designed with the emerging young dancer in mind. With classical ballet technique as the core structure, it also includes basic tap and creative musical play.

STUDENTS SHOULD WEAR A LEOTARD, TIGHTS AND BALLET SHOES & TAP SHOES.  TUTUS & SKIRTS ARE OPTIONAL. 

HAIR  NEEDS TO BE UP IN A PONYTAIL OR BUN.


Beginner 6-10

Ages 6-10

July 28th - July 31st

12:30PM-3:30PM

$220 PRE-REGISTERED

$250 DAY OF REGISTRATION

This session is designed for the progressive young dancer to experience multiple styles of dance including: classical ballet, jazz,tap, ACRO and hip hop.

LEOTARD, TIGHTS AND BALLET SHOES.  SKIRTS, TAP SHOES, ATHLETIC SHOES & ATHLETIC CLOTHING ARE OPTIONAL.  HAIR NEEDS TO BE UP IN A PONYTAIL OR BUN.
